The Project SAETO supports the following Objectives:

1. "to improve the skills and competence of people, …" and
2. "to improve the quality of, and access to, continuing vocational training …" by developing and testing a specific set of tools that will allow training organisations in VET to develop a strategic quality approach to their daily business.

Besides the tools, the project will develop a set of training modules that allow the training of employees in the basics of modern total quality management. By offering the training contents as a modular, easily adaptable training manual to other Educational and Training Organisations (ETOs), the project will help these organisations to offer a validated training course on this topic, which again helps to im-prove the skills and competence of the employees of other training organisations that want to implement TQM. The priority "Developing the quality of VET systems and practices" is supported by the fact, that the project is implementing a major part of it's developed materials based either on EFQM or ISO 9001 which after declared European Quality Policy are the relevant standards for this area.
